AC Infinity 6-Inch Backdraft Damper Duct Insert

Heavy-duty 6-inch backdraft damper duct insert for preventing cold drafts, wind, moisture and debris from travelling back through ventilation lines.

The AC Infinity AC-BDD6-B is a one-way airflow valve designed for installation inside 6-inch flexible or rigid ducting. Its powder-coated galvanised steel body features dual outer rubber gaskets that grip the duct walls to create a snug, airtight friction seal.

Inside the 5.03-inch steel body, lightweight aluminium butterfly blades are supported by a spring-loaded hinge mechanism. The blades open with minimal static pressure from inline exhaust fans, range hoods or bathroom blowers, then close when airflow stops to help prevent cold-air infiltration and external draft backflow.
