No matter how high-quality your growing media is, roots cannot thrive without oxygen. When soil or potting mixes become too dense or tightly packed, water pools at the bottom of the pot, pushing out vital air pockets and suffocating the root system. Adding premium aeration components to your mix creates a loose, highly porous substrate structure that allows water to drain freely and oxygen to circulate continuously around the root zone.
