AC Infinity 8-Inch Backdraft Damper Duct Insert

The AC Infinity AC-BDD8-B is a one-way airflow valve designed for installation inside 8-inch flexible or rigid ducting. Its powder-coated galvanised steel body features dual outer rubber gaskets that grip duct walls to create a snug, airtight friction seal.

Inside the 7.08-inch steel body, lightweight aluminium butterfly blades are supported by a spring-loaded hinge mechanism. The blades open with minimal static pressure from high-volume inline exhaust fans, commercial range hoods or whole-house ventilation systems, then close when airflow stops to help prevent cold-air infiltration and external draft backflow.
