Take your active hydroponic setup to a professional commercial standard with Cultiwool Mapito. Combining loose premium stonewool flakes with high-grade polyurethane foam pieces, Mapito represents a highly aerated, structurally stable, and cost-effective alternative to loose coco coir or traditional clay pebbles.

Engineered around Cultilene’s world-renowned rockwool processing technology, Mapito provides precise control over root-zone hydration. Its loose, flock-like layout allows you to pack containers or net pots loosely, ensuring that while the medium drinks nutrient solutions efficiently, vast macro-air corridors remain open for uninhibited root-zone oxygenation.

Core Cultivation Advantages:

  • Elite Air-to-Water Balance: Unlike standard solid rockwool slabs, Mapito's loose composition delivers a highly advanced air-to-water ratio. It provides massive, free-flowing oxygen pockets throughout the pot while holding an abundant, evenly distributed reservoir of moisture directly available to the root tips.

  • Exceptional Saturation & Re-Saturation: Many raw loose mediums suffer from hydrophobic dry spots if allowed to dry out between feeds. Cultiwool Mapito boasts exceptional capillary wetting and re-wetting properties, drinking liquid inputs instantly and ensuring zero nutrient solution is wasted via "false draining."

  • Pristine EC & pH Stability: Mapito is chemically inert and completely sterile. It does not bind, store, or unpredictably spike your root-zone Electrical Conductivity (EC), nor does it dump background minerals into your runoff. This leaves you in absolute control of your crop’s feeding schedule from day one.

  • Maximum Structural Resilience: Built from highly durable, resistant mineral fibres and premium foam, Mapito does not sag, compact, or break down into sludge over a heavy growing cycle. It remains highly structure-stable, giving your plants a robust physical anchor to support dense floral canopies.

How to Use Cultiwool Mapito:

1.Fill your containers:Loose Distribution.

Gently pour the loose Mapito flakes directly into your net pots, fabric containers, or pots.

2.Avoid compression:Protect Pore Volume.

Ensure you do not pack down or compact the medium tightly into the pots. Keeping the flakes loose ensures the structural air pockets remain wide open for maximum drainage.

3.Pre-soak and stabilize:Conditioning Run.

Flush the medium thoroughly with a mild, pH-adjusted nutrient solution to condition the mineral fibres and settle the baseline chemistry before introducing plants.

4.Establish your feed cycles:Irrigation Strategy.

Integrate Mapito into top-feed drip arrays, flood & drain systems, or manual run-to-waste systems, checking your pot weights to establish an optimal wet-to-dry cycle.
