Mammoth Juiced Pro EC Fan

Optimise your environmental dynamics with the Mammoth Juiced Pro EC Fan. Encased in a sleek, lightweight aluminium casing, this next-generation extraction fan leverages cutting-edge EC (Electronically Commutated) motor technology to deliver massive volumetric air movement while maintaining absolute energy efficiency.

Capable of circulating up to an impressive 2987 m³/h on its largest model, the Juiced Pro rapidly purges stale, hot, and humid air from any enclosed space, replacing it with the continuous fresh air circulation required to maintain a perfect microclimate.

Core Features:

  • Advanced EC Efficiency: Electronically commutated motors provide a major performance upgrade over traditional AC fans, drawing significantly less power while delivering superior static pressure handling.

  • 0–100% Precision Control: Every unit includes an integrated, stepless speed controller. This allows you to fine-tune your exact extraction rate to match your environmental demands, saving hundreds in annual utility costs compared to fixed-speed alternatives.

  • Acoustic Vibration Dampening: Operating as low as 54dB, the fan stands on a heavy-duty, structurally sound metal platform that isolates kinetic energy and eliminates disruptive floor or wall vibrations.

  • Streamlined Aluminium Casing: Engineered for maximum aerodynamic throughput, the lightweight aluminium shell prevents structural drag, ensuring no motor energy is wasted.

Versatile Deployment:

Designed for flexible installation, the unit can be securely mounted near the ceiling or peak extraction zones of any area requiring high-performance ventilation—including automated residential spaces, domestic workshops, and commercial greenhouses. Simply fix the unit using the structural base, secure your ducting networks, and plug into standard mains power.

Technical Summary:

  • Speed Modulation: Integrated 0–100% manual speed controller included.

  • Aerodynamic Frame: Corrosion-resistant, lightweight aluminium chassis.

  • Operational Quietness: Anti-vibration base stand lowers noise floor to 54dB.

  • Energy Profile: Ultra-low operating costs via smart EC engineering.

  • Size Versatility: Available in standard industry diameters from 4” up to 12”.

🍃 Environmental Extraction & Filter Sizing Tool

Input your space dimensions and target air exchange cycle frequency to determine the exact minimum required volumetric extraction rate (m³/h).

Target Cycles/Hour
💡 Standard Recommendations: 60 cycles/hr replaces environmental volume once per minute (ideal for closed cultivation). 30 cycles/hr is standard for ambient structural cooling.

Find answers to common questions about Ventilation

As a general rule, you should aim to exchange the air in your grow space every 1–3 minutes. To calculate the required fan capacity, multiply your room volume (length × width × height in metres) by 20–60 to get the minimum m³/h rating. For example, a 1.2m × 1.2m × 2m tent (2.88m³) needs a fan rated at least 58–173 m³/h.

CFM (cubic feet per minute) and m³/h (cubic metres per hour) are both units of airflow. To convert CFM to m³/h, multiply by 1.699. So a 200 CFM fan equals approximately 340 m³/h. Most UK and EU fans are rated in m³/h, while US products often use CFM.

Your carbon filter should be rated at the same or higher m³/h than your fan. Using an undersized filter will reduce its effectiveness and shorten its lifespan. Mammoth Carbon Filters are sized to match common fan ratings — check the product specifications for the recommended fan pairing.

Most carbon filters last 12–18 months under normal use, but this depends on humidity levels, air quality, and how continuously the fan runs. High humidity (above 70% RH) can saturate the activated carbon faster. Running your fan at a lower speed with a fan controller can extend filter life significantly.

Static pressure (measured in Pa or mmH₂O) matters when air has to pass through ducting, bends, or a carbon filter — all of which create resistance. For most grow tent setups with a carbon filter and 1–2m of ducting, look for a fan with at least 150–250 Pa of static pressure to maintain effective airflow.
