Note: For soil growers, SHOGUN Silicon should only be applied as a foliar spray, as natural soil substrates already contain baseline silicon levels.

Step-by-Step Usage Instructions:

Potassium silicate is a highly reactive compound. To prevent it from clumping, fallout, or creating gooey deposits in your tank, it must be mixed into your water before any other nutrients are introduced.

1.Prepare raw water baseline:Initial Tank Fill.

Fill your hydroponic reservoir or mixing tank to approximately 75% capacity with plain water. Do not add any base nutrients or other additives at this stage.

2.Dilute and mix Silicon first:Silicon Integration.

Add SHOGUN Silicon at a continuous rate of 1ml per litre of total tank volume. Stir vigorously to ensure it is completely dissolved and thoroughly homogenised throughout the water column.

3.Correct your baseline pH:pH Correction.

Because potassium silicate is highly alkaline, it will raise your water's pH. Use pH Down to correct the tank water to just below 7.0 (neutral) before moving forward.

4.Introduce base feeds slowly:Nutrient Addition.

With the Silicon mixed and the pH corrected, slowly introduce your pre-diluted base nutrients (e.g., Samurai Hydro or Coco A&B) into the tank while stirring continuously. Once fully mixed, adjust to your final target feeding pH ( $5.5$ – $6.2$ ).

5.Optional Foliar Spray Execution:Foliar Alternative.

For soil cultivation or rapid structural correction, dilute at 5ml per litre. Critical: You must adjust the final foliar solution to sit strictly between 5.0 and 7.0 pH before spraying; applications outside this window will cause leaf damage.
