Vortex Wall Plate

Vortex Ducting Wall Plates provide a clean, simple, and airtight solution for passing ventilation ductwork through grow room walls, ceilings, partition boards, or tent intake/exhaust ports. Designed to bridge duct runs through solid barriers, these spigot plates eliminate messy cut-outs, preventing air leaks, light bleed, and unwanted odour escape at wall transition points.

Each wall plate features a heavy-duty, flat mounting flange pre-drilled with corner fixing holes, coupled with a raised circular spigot that fits snugly into standard ducting diameters. This allows flexible foil, combi, or acoustic ducting to be easily slid over the collar and clamped securely in place using a metal Jubilee clip or foil tape.

Moulded from durable, high-impact plastic, Vortex Wall Plates are fully resistant to rust, high humidity, and temperature variations. Whether you are building a custom timber intake box, porting an exhaust duct out of a sealed grow room, or mounting passive vents, these plates ensure a professional, flush-fitting finish.

Available in all standard grow room ducting sizes from 4-inch (100mm) up to 12-inch (315mm).

Pro-Tip: When fitting a wall plate to a timber or plasterboard wall, apply a bead of silicone sealant around the backside of the square flange before screwing it down. This guarantees a 100% light-tight and odour-proof seal between the plate and the wall surface.
