Phytoseiulus persimilis is the number one method for controlling glasshouse red spider mite, widely used by both amateur gardeners and commercial growers.
This highly active predatory mite develops twice as fast as red spider mite at humidity levels above 60%, allowing rapid control of outbreaks. A single female Phytoseiulus can destroy ten spider mite females and their young in just seven days under optimum conditions.
Each tube contains approximately 2,000 living predator mites in a bran carrier. The mites are very small and may not be visible to the naked eye - this is normal.
